Senior Electrical Technician – Production

About the role

The Senior Electrical Technician – Production will work on‑site in Karachi, supporting the manufacturing of power generation equipment. The role focuses on maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance on production equipment and power generation systems.
• Support installation, commissioning, and testing of generators, switchgear, and control panels.
• Diagnose electrical faults, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Execute planned preventive maintenance and continuous‑improvement activities.
• Assemble, wire, and test low‑voltage control and power panels, including MCC, ATS, PFI, AMF, and distribution boards.
• Read and interpret schematics, single‑line diagrams, GA drawings, and wiring diagrams.
• Carry out panel wiring, cable dressing, busbar fabrication, and functional testing.

Required profile

• Strong practical experience in electrical maintenance within industrial or power‑generation environments.
• Solid understanding of electricity principles and basic electrical engineering concepts.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults quickly.
• Experience with generator sets, switchgear, and various control panels is highly beneficial.
