Senior IT & DevOps Engineer

About the role

Codup is seeking a Senior IT & DevOps Engineer to take end-to-end ownership of its infrastructure and IT operations. You will manage both cloud and on-premise server environments, as well as the internal network, ensuring reliability, security and performance for internal teams and client-facing services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and monitor the internal network using pfSense firewalls, VLANs, NAT and VPN, maintaining ≥95 % uptime.
• Administer Unifi access points and wireless infrastructure across the organisation.
• Manage Linux servers, including provisioning, hardening, performance tuning and patch compliance.
• Operate AWS services (EC2, S3, Route 53) for internal workloads and oversee client hosting platforms such as cPanel/WHM, WP Engine and Liquid Web.
• Implement and maintain Zabbix monitoring, alerting and incident-response processes.
• Handle DNS, SSL certificates, email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and website migrations with zero downtime.
• Document server configurations, access logs and environment records.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate with delivery and leadership teams.
