Senior Manager Continuous Professional Development for Teachers

About the role

The Citizens Foundation is looking for a passionate Senior Manager to lead the design and delivery of continuous professional development (CPD) programmes for its teachers. You will shape subject‑specific and general pedagogical trainings delivered through in‑person, online and hybrid formats.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and evaluate CPD curricula covering subject‑specific pedagogy, refresher courses and new academic/administrative expectations.
• Deliver training sessions using instructional design principles, adult‑learning theory and technology‑enhanced methods.
• Coordinate with school leaders, educators and administrative teams to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
• Monitor programme impact through data analysis and adjust content for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with cultural sensitivity to work with diverse educators.
• Problem‑solving mindset and ability to manage complex, uncertain projects.
• Interest in technology and innovation to enrich learning experiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in education, curriculum, humanities, psychology or social sciences; Master’s preferred.
• 8‑10 years of experience, including classroom teaching, adult‑learning design and e‑learning development; project‑management experience is a plus.
