Senior Microsoft AI Engineer - Copilot, Foundry & Power Automate

About the role

We are a startup building AI‑powered business solutions using Microsoft technologies. As a Senior Microsoft AI Engineer you will own end‑to‑end delivery of AI assistants, automation workflows and platform administration, working remotely on a full‑time, long‑term basis.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain AI assistants and agents with Microsoft Copilot Studio and Microsoft Foundry.
• Develop robust Power Automate workflows with validation, exception handling, monitoring and recovery.
• Integrate Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Dataverse, Microsoft Graph and external APIs, creating custom connectors when needed.
• Administer the company’s Microsoft 365, Azure and Power Platform environments, handling configuration, access, governance, documentation and cost control.
• Manage solution lifecycle across development, testing and production, including source control, CI/CD pipelines and release verification.
• Evaluate AI output quality, latency, cost and establish human‑review steps for critical automated actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering production solutions with Copilot Studio, Microsoft Foundry and Power Automate.
• Hands‑on administration of Microsoft 365, Azure and Power Platform environments.
• Ability to lead and mentor developers, coordinate outsourced contributors and communicate business impact.
• Experience translating business requirements into clear tasks, milestones and acceptance criteria.
