Senior Patient Advocate

About the role

The Senior Patient Advocate joins the Prescription Optimization Program to help members obtain critical medications efficiently and affordably. Acting as a personal guide, the advocate navigates complex prescription processes, connects members with assistance programs, and collaborates with healthcare providers and pharmaceutical companies.

Key responsibilities

• Support and promote the Prescription Optimization Program for members and clients.
• Assist members in accessing all benefits of the program, including patient assistance options.
• Provide triage, care coordination, and communication among members, providers, pharmacies, and internal teams.
• Handle inbound calls from members, providers, and pharmacies, delivering compassionate and compliant service.
• Manage and process forms, data, and documentation required for patient assistance.
• Maintain accurate records, follow‑up diligently, and ensure a hassle‑free experience for members.

Required profile

• Active Pharmacy Technician license in good standing in any U.S. state.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred or willingness to obtain certification within six months.
• Self‑starter with strong attention to detail and solid time‑management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently, handling multiple deadlines.
• Excellent problem‑solving, research, and communication abilities.
