Senior Patient Advocate

About the role

The Senior Patient Advocate joins the Prescription Optimization Program to help members obtain critical medications. Acting as a personal advocate, you will guide members through the complex world of prescriptions, seeking cost‑effective solutions and patient assistance when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Prescription Optimization Program and ensure members utilize all available benefits.
• Provide triage and care coordination for clients, members, providers, and pharmacies.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to advance the POP initiative.
• Handle inbound calls from members, providers, and pharmacies, delivering compassionate and compliant service.
• Manage and process forms and data to facilitate patient assistance.
• Resolve issues accurately, maintain impeccable documentation, and follow up promptly.
• Maintain a patient‑centric mindset with a high sense of urgency.

Required profile

• Active Pharmacy Technician license in good standing in any U.S. state.
• Willingness and ability to obtain Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification within six months if not already certified.
• Self‑starter with strong attention to detail and solid time‑management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex information clearly.
• Problem‑solving aptitude, research skills, and ability to handle multiple deadlines independently.
