Senior Physics Lecturer (Remote)

About the role

Riphah International University is seeking a dedicated Senior Physics Lecturer to join its faculty on a remote basis. The successful candidate will deliver advanced physics lectures, shape curriculum, and contribute to scholarly research.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver comprehensive lectures and practical sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• Develop, update, and refine the physics curriculum in line with current scientific developments.
• Conduct academic research and publish findings in HEC‑recognised journals.
• Supervise student research projects, theses, and provide academic mentorship.
• Prepare, administer, and evaluate assessments, assignments, and examinations.
• Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and policy formulation.
• Stay current with advancements in physics and integrate new knowledge into teaching and research.
• Assist in organising seminars, workshops, and conferences.
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary research and university initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with university standards and policies.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of university‑level lecturing experience.
• M.Phil degree from an HEC‑recognised institute.
• Strong academic writing and publication record.
• Deep understanding of contemporary physics topics.
• Ability to engage effectively with students and faculty.
