Senior QA Engineer - Manual

About the role

The Senior QA Engineer will design and implement manual test plans, debug issues, and define corrective actions while mentoring junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and execute day‑to‑day testing activities in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Participate in scrum and product planning, covering all testing phases from strategy to reporting.
• Document, communicate and troubleshoot bugs, ensuring issues are resolved before client delivery.
• Collaborate with developers, architects and release managers to enforce quality gates throughout the pipeline.
• Develop and maintain QA processes, train the QA team, and provide orientation for new hires.

Required profile

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 3‑5 years of software quality assurance experience.

Required skills

• Manual, performance, functional, regression and integration testing.
• White‑box and black‑box testing techniques.
• SQL and scripting proficiency.
• Postman and JMeter expertise.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes.
