Senior React Native AI-First Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a highly senior mobile engineer to lead the design and delivery of a React Native application in an AI‑first environment. The role demands full ownership of mobile architecture, backend services, and data layers while collaborating directly with clients to translate ambiguous needs into production‑ready solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, own, and evolve the React Native mobile architecture from core foundations to production.
• Make independent architecture decisions focused on scalability, maintainability, performance, and reliability.
• Build and maintain Node.js backend services that support mobile functionality.
• Design and manage PostgreSQL databases with attention to data modeling and performance.
• Define and enforce engineering patterns across mobile, backend, and API integration layers.
• Set quality standards for code structure, testing, responsiveness, and developer experience, including AI‑generated code.
• Translate ambiguous product requirements into clear technical solutions.
• Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness in a fast‑paced production environment.
• Collaborate directly with clients to maintain clear communication and requirement understanding.
• Contribute to system design, performance strategy, testing strategy, and overall engineering productivity.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in React Native, Node.js, and SQL databases, especially PostgreSQL.
• Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining production‑grade applications.
• Deep understanding of performance, responsiveness, maintainability, and overall software quality.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Full‑time availability in a remote environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on development experience.
