Senior Registrar - General Surgery

About the role

Naeem Hospital Mohlanwal Branch is looking for an experienced Senior Registrar in General Surgery to join its surgical team. The ideal candidate is a PGR in General Surgery with 4-5 years of relevant clinical experience, strong surgical exposure and preferably near completion of postgraduate training or close to Consultant level.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage surgical patients, including emergency and elective cases
• Conduct pre-operative and post-operative care and daily patient rounds
• Perform surgical procedures according to competency and handle surgical emergencies
• Coordinate with consultants, residents, anaesthesia, nursing and other departments
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow patient safety and infection-control standards
• Take part in on-call and emergency duties

Required profile

• MBBS from a recognized institution
• PGR / Postgraduate Resident in General Surgery
• 4-5 years of experience in General Surgery
• Preferably near completion of FCPS/MS General Surgery or equivalent
• Valid PMDC registration/license
• Candidates close to Consultant level are highly preferred

• Strong exposure to general surgical procedures and emergency cases
• Good clinical decision-making, communication and leadership skills
