Senior SEO Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SEO Specialist to lead the organic growth strategy for a Germany‑based B2B e‑commerce company. The role focuses on improving visibility of IT infrastructure products across the German and wider European markets. You will own the end‑to‑end SEO roadmap and translate search growth into measurable commercial results.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy aligned with e‑commerce and commercial objectives, prioritising high‑value product categories and manufacturers.
• Lead technical SEO initiatives, addressing crawlability, indexation, site architecture, structured data, Core Web Vitals and mobile optimisation.
• Shape the information architecture, including product taxonomy, URL structures and internal linking to support scalable organic growth.
• Conduct keyword and market opportunity analysis for product names, part numbers, specifications and long‑tail commercial searches.
• Drive international SEO for the German market, including localisation of keywords and content.

Required profile

• 5–8+ years of proven SEO experience, preferably in e‑commerce or B2B technology sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to build and manage large‑scale SEO programmes that deliver organic traffic and revenue growth.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Keyword Planner, Google Merchant Center and Looker.
• Strong technical SEO knowledge covering crawlability, indexation, canonicalisation, structured data, site speed and mobile optimisation.
