Senior Software Engineer (Node & React)

About the role

Creative Chaos is looking for a Senior Full‑Stack Software Engineer specialized in Node.js and React to design, build, and maintain robust server‑side APIs and responsive client interfaces. You will ensure high‑quality, secure, and performant applications while mentoring junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and estimate tasks.
• Write clean code, unit tests, and maintain at least 90% test coverage.
• Develop RESTful APIs using Node.js frameworks such as ExpressJS or NestJS.
• Build modern front‑end interfaces with ReactJS, Redux, and Context.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, update issue trackers, and provide status reports.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, conduct training, and evaluate candidates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3‑5 years of professional experience in full‑stack development.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Flexible, versatile attitude with a focus on security and performance.

Required skills

• JavaScript, Node.js, ExpressJS, NestJS.
• ReactJS, Redux, Context, Material‑UI or Atomize.
• HTML, CSS.
• Relational and NoSQL databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
• Unit testing frameworks and 90%+ coverage.
• GitHub, JIRA, version control.
