Senior Solution Architect – Microservices & Platform Architecture

About the role

We are building a scalable, multi‑product ecosystem where each application runs as an independent microservice within a unified platform that supports Single Sign‑On (SSO). As a Senior Solution Architect you will define, govern, and evolve the architecture to ensure it remains secure, high‑performing, and maintainable as we expand nationally and globally.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design of a multi‑product, microservice‑based platform with SSO integration.
• Define scalable, secure, high‑performance system architecture for nationwide and international growth.
• Establish API standards, service communication patterns (REST, gRPC, event‑driven) and data‑flow guidelines.
• Design and implement identity and access management using OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and JWT.
• Make cloud infrastructure decisions (AWS preferred) to ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and cost efficiency.
• Architect multi‑tenant solutions supporting multiple products and user bases.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Conduct architecture reviews, guide teams on best practices, and maintain the long‑term roadmap.
• Define governance, engineering standards, service ownership models, and documentation practices.
• Design observability, logging, monitoring, disaster‑recovery, and fault‑isolation strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in software architecture and cloud infrastructure.
• Proven experience designing and scaling large distributed platforms, preferably in fintech or payments.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, event‑driven architecture, and API gateways.

Required skills

• Programming languages: Python, Node.js (or equivalent backend stack).
• Version control: Git (GitFlow branching, code review, PR management).
• CI/CD: AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy (or equivalent).
• Containerization & orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Cloud platform: Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Monitoring & observability: CloudWatch, Grafana, Datadog.
• API testing tools: Postman, Insomnia.
• Identity & access management: OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT.
• Communication protocols: REST, gRPC, event‑driven messaging.
• AI‑assisted development tools familiarity: Claude, Cursor, Copilot.
