Senior Structural Design Engineer

About the role

The Senior Structural Design Engineer will be based on‑site in Rawalpindi, leading the structural design of building and infrastructure projects. You will work closely with civil engineers, architects and project managers to deliver safe, code‑compliant solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the structural design process, including calculations, layout, detailing and preparation of construction documents.
• Perform detailed structural analysis and load calculations using industry‑standard software.
• Review and coordinate drawings and 3D models, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, providing technical guidance to junior engineers and drafters.
• Participate in design reviews, address site queries and support continuous improvement of design procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; a Master’s degree or PEC registration is an advantage.
• Proven experience in structural design for buildings or infrastructure, with a track record of leading design teams.
• Strong problem‑solving ability, attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for presenting technical information to diverse audiences.

Required skills

• AutoCAD (CAD tools for preparing and reviewing structural drawings).
• Structural analysis software such as ETABS, SAP2000 or STAAD.
• Load calculation and design of structural members.
• Knowledge of relevant structural codes and standards.
