Senior Technical Sales Officer

About the role

The Senior Technical Sales Officer will lead sales activities across the Rahim Yar Khan territory, driving revenue growth through demand-generation, channel development and effective inventory management. Reporting to regional leadership, the role combines strategic planning with hands‑on coaching of field officers to achieve forecast accuracy and meet sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver monthly budget and maintain forecast accuracy above 80 %.
• Generate demand through field meetings, demonstrations and product showcases for growers, channel partners and middlemen.
• Lead, train and coach a team of field officers, planning actions and monitoring on‑the‑job performance.
• Set targets, conduct monthly business reviews and motivate channel partners, including onboarding new BSAs.
• Monitor market outlook, competitor activity and channel inventory, ensuring timely liquidation and plan‑ogram compliance.
• Develop new product introductions (NPI) through demonstrations and field campaigns.
• Allocate resources, establish new channels and expand geographical coverage.
• Manage stakeholder relationships with growers, sub‑dealers, institutions and government officials.
• Handle customer complaints and ensure collections meet Days‑Sales‑Outstanding targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, preferably Plant Breeding or Horticulture; MBA in Agriculture is a plus.
• 3‑4 years of relevant sales experience in the agricultural sector.
• Proven ability to lead field teams, plan actions and achieve sales targets.
• Strong analytical skills for forecasting and market analysis.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
