Senior/Lead Textile Designer – Women’s Apparel

About the role

Bonanza Satrangi is looking for a Senior/Lead Textile Designer to drive the creative direction of its women’s apparel collections. The role combines trend research, design development and team leadership to deliver commercially successful textiles and prints.

Key responsibilities

• Develop original, trend‑driven textile and print designs for seasonal collections.
• Lead the creative vision and ensure alignment with brand aesthetics.
• Translate design concepts into commercially viable products.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including product development, sourcing and merchandising—to execute collections.
• Oversee design quality from initial sketch through final production.
• Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering skill growth and consistency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion or Textile Design.
• 5–6 years of experience in textile/fashion design, preferably women’s wear.
• Strong portfolio showcasing pret, unstitched or formal wear.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor a design team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
• Solid understanding of fabrics, prints, embellishments and colour palettes.
• Excellent attention to detail and a creative mindset.
