About the role

COLAB is seeking an experienced SEO Head to lead a remote team and drive strategic SEO initiatives for US‑based clients. This client‑facing leadership position requires strong English communication, deep SEO expertise, and the ability to stay ahead of AI and search trends.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage an SEO team of 5–10+ members, guiding best practices and performance improvement.
• Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies covering technical, on‑page, off‑page, and local SEO for US clients.
• Maintain client relationships, participate in calls and meetings, and present performance reports and recommendations.
• Monitor industry trends, algorithm updates, and AI developments impacting SEO and digital marketing.
• Collaborate with content, paid media, development, and account management teams to ensure deliverables meet KPIs.

Required profile

• 10+ years of professional SEO experience with a proven track record in a marketing agency.
• Experience working with US clients and managing SEO teams of 5–10+ members.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and confidence in client interactions.

Required skills

• Technical SEO, on‑page, off‑page, and local SEO expertise.
• Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Semrush, Ahrefs, and similar SEO tools.
• Understanding of current SEO trends, AI developments, and evolving search landscape.
