Service Engineer - Industrial Automation & Robotics

About the role

Ashraf Group, a distributor of automation, cutting, welding and industrial tools based in Lahore, is looking for a Service Engineer. The role suits a Mechatronics Engineer or someone holding an Electrical/Mechanical diploma. You will install, commission, troubleshoot and maintain industrial automation and robotic systems at customer sites, communicate with customers, prepare service reports and give technical support.

Key responsibilities

• Install and commission industrial robots and automation systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical and automation-related issues.
• Perform regular service and preventive maintenance at customer sites.
• Visit customers to resolve technical problems and provide support.
• Prepare service reports and visit reports after each customer visit.
• Communicate with customers to understand their issues and propose suitable solutions.
• Help manage spare parts, consumables and other service-related items.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering or a Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
• 1-2 years of experience in installation, commissioning, maintenance or field service is preferred.
• Willingness to travel regularly for customer site visits.
• Able to work independently and prepare professional service reports.
