Shift Manager – Personal Care

About the role

Unilever is seeking a Shift Manager for its Personal Care (PC) manufacturing site in Rahim Yar Khan. Reporting to the Operations Manager PC, you will lead the floor team to meet daily production targets while ensuring safety, quality, and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute making and packing operations to achieve shift targets for volume, quality, output reliability, cost and safety.
• Receive and manage chemical and packaging materials, ensuring optimal usage and accurate record‑keeping.
• Organise and control labour (operators, technicians, contractors) based on required numbers and skill sets.
• Monitor material consumption, yield and waste, aiming to minimise variance.
• Supervise weekly and monthly stock counts and Fourth Shift transactions.
• Enforce personal protective equipment use and compliance with HSE, health and environmental rules.
• Drive autonomous maintenance activities on the shop floor.
• Support implementation of best practices such as TPM, HACCP and audit recommendations.
• Identify skill gaps, arrange training and continuously improve processes.

Required profile

• BSc Engineering (fresh graduate) or up to 1 year experience in FMCG or manufacturing operations.
• Strong understanding of HSE principles and technical aptitude.
• Growth mindset with excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Leadership capability to coach, support and inspire the team.
