Shopify Developer – Full‑time Night Shift

About the role

Nysonian is seeking a skilled Shopify Developer to join its Islamabad office on a night‑shift schedule. You will build custom Shopify applications, checkout extensions, and advanced storefront components that support fast‑scaling direct‑to‑consumer brands.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain custom Shopify applications using Shopify CLI, App Bridge, and Remix/Node.js, ensuring scalable and reliable backend architecture.
• Develop Shopify checkout and UI extensions with React and TypeScript to improve conversion and customer experience.
• Customize and optimise Shopify storefronts using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with a focus on performance.
• Integrate third‑party APIs and tools such as Klaviyo, review platforms, and loyalty programs.
• Deliver pixel‑perfect, responsive product and landing pages that meet brand and conversion standards.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs while continuously improving site performance, stability, and uptime.
• Collaborate with marketing and design teams to ship high‑impact features quickly, using Git and clean‑code practices.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of professional experience in web or Shopify theme development, delivering scalable e‑commerce solutions.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+), writing clean, maintainable code.
• Hands‑on experience with React.js for dynamic UI components and Shopify extensions.
• Backend development experience with Node.js (Express or Remix preferred) for full‑stack Shopify solutions.
• Solid understanding of Shopify Liquid and experience building custom Shopify apps and extensions.
• Familiarity with Shopify Admin API, Storefront API, and App Bridge, with a portfolio of relevant projects.
• Experience with checkout extensibility, Metafields, Metaobjects, Functions, and tools like Klaviyo or Appstle (nice to have).
• Strong execution mindset: ships fast without compromising quality, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
