Site Supervisor

About the role

SMEC is looking for a motivated Site Supervisor to lead day‑to‑day civil construction activities on a key hydropower project in Swat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The role ensures that all works are performed safely, to quality standards and in line with approved drawings and schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily civil construction tasks on‑site, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors and project teams to monitor progress and address any deviations from the schedule.
• Conduct site inspections to verify that work aligns with design requirements.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, drawings and material specifications.
• Assist in managing resources such as labour, materials and equipment.
• Support senior engineers in troubleshooting technical issues on‑site.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5–7 years of experience in civil construction or site supervision.
• Previous involvement in hydropower, dam, or large‑scale infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of civil construction methods and practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
