Social Media Community Engagement Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Social Media Community Engagement Specialist to drive lead generation for painting contractor clients through targeted activity in local U.S. Facebook groups. The role is fully remote and focuses on creating, scheduling, and monitoring posts that resonate with community members while adhering to each group’s rules.

Key responsibilities

• Create and schedule targeted posts on behalf of clients within local Facebook groups to generate qualified painting leads.
• Monitor and strictly follow each group’s policies to avoid penalties or post removals.
• Track and analyze post performance, including engagement metrics, reach, and lead conversion.
• Develop content ideas that align with client marketing objectives and local community interests.
• Maintain an active presence in assigned groups to build trust and rapport.
• Collaborate with the Painter Marketing Pros team to ensure social media efforts support overall campaign goals.
• Identify new Facebook groups and online communities suitable for promotion.
• Report regularly on activities, successes, challenges, and improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience managing local Facebook groups for business purposes.
• Proven track record of generating leads through targeted social media activities.
• Strong understanding of community outreach strategies and social media best practices.
• Excellent written communication and content‑creation abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
