Social Media & Community Manager

About the role

As the Social Media and Community Manager at Mahaana, you will be the voice of the brand across all digital channels. You will create engaging content, nurture online communities, and respond to customers in real‑time, turning followers into brand advocates.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and schedule 60+ social media posts each month across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
• Monitor and reply to all comments, direct messages and mentions within two hours during business hours.
• Develop platform‑specific content such as Instagram carousels, TikTok videos, LinkedIn articles and Twitter threads.
• Execute trend‑jacking strategies, especially for TikTok and Instagram Reels.
• Build and moderate community groups on WhatsApp and Telegram.
• Coordinate influencer collaborations and manage ongoing partnerships.
• Collect user‑generated content and showcase testimonials and success stories.
• Track performance metrics, prepare weekly reports and adjust tactics accordingly.
• Handle social media crisis response and sentiment monitoring.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of hands‑on social media management experience.
• Fluent in English and familiar with Urdu social‑media culture.
• High emotional intelligence for community engagement and conflict resolution.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends when needed.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and Twitter.
• Proficiency with Canva for basic graphic design.
• Strong copywriting ability adaptable to different platform tones.
• Understanding of social media algorithms and best practices.
