Social Media Expert – AI Training Contractor

About the role

We are seeking a Social Media Subject Matter Expert to evaluate and create AI‑generated social content. This remote, hourly contractor position supports SME Careers, a fast‑growing AI data services company, by ensuring AI outputs are on‑brand, engaging, and accurate.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed prompts and gold‑standard social media outputs (posts, threads, scripts, calendars, strategy notes) for AI training.
• Evaluate, rank, and provide written feedback on AI‑generated content, focusing on clarity, audience fit, brand voice, platform suitability, and compliance.
• Identify and flag messaging issues, unsafe claims, policy risks, and bias, and conduct fact‑checking where needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years managing social media for brands, with proven content creation and performance reporting.
• Deep knowledge of platform mechanics and best practices across Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook.
• Experience with content operations such as calendars, creative briefs, and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Strong analytical instincts for interpreting reach, watch time, CTR, and other performance signals.
• Minimum C1 English proficiency with excellent written communication and editing skills.
