Social Media & SEO Specialist

About the role

Smart Web Agency, an award‑winning UK digital agency, is seeking a talented Social Media & SEO Specialist to join our growing team on a full‑time remote basis. You will help drive measurable growth for both client brands and our own digital properties through integrated social media and search engine optimisation strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Create and manage content across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X and TikTok.
• Plan, schedule and monitor social media campaigns using scheduling tools.
• Design engaging graphics with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite and write compelling captions.
• Respond to audience engagement and moderate comments.
• Develop and implement SEO strategies, conduct keyword research and competitor analysis.
• Optimise website content, meta data and internal linking on WordPress sites.
• Produce SEO content briefs and collaborate with writers.
• Perform technical SEO audits and recommend improvements.
• Track rankings, traffic and conversions using Google Analytics, Google Search Console and SEO tools.
• Prepare monthly performance reports for SEO and social media.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in SEO and social media marketing.
• Strong written English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and pay close attention to detail.
