Social Media Strategist

About the role

We are looking for a research‑driven Social Media Strategist to design and execute comprehensive social media strategies for B2B and technology‑focused brands. The role goes beyond publishing posts; it involves audience research, trend analysis, content planning, and performance optimisation to support brand awareness, thought leadership and lead generation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement month‑by‑month social media strategies aligned with business objectives across platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok and YouTube.
• Research industry trends, competitors and audience insights to identify content opportunities and define strategic themes.
• Create detailed content briefs and guide writers, designers and video editors on messaging, tone, format and objectives.
• Position the brand and its leadership as credible voices through founder‑led, employee‑led and thought‑leadership content.
• Monitor performance metrics, analyse results and continuously optimise campaigns for reach, engagement and lead generation.

Required profile

• Strong research and analytical mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
• Experience working with cross‑functional creative teams and aligning content with overall marketing goals.
• Deep understanding of B2B audiences, their pain points and content preferences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of crafting clear briefs and strategic direction.
• Ability to manage multiple platforms and adapt strategies to each channel’s unique format.
