Software Engineer - Backend (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join a leading global IT services provider on a contract basis. This remote position involves designing, building, and maintaining high‑performance backend systems that power critical applications for users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy robust backend services using modern frameworks.
• Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability for a global audience.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code following industry best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience in backend development with languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
• Strong understanding of RESTful and GraphQL API design and integration.
• Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases and query optimization.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and container orchestration tools.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control using Git.
