Software Engineer I – Backend (MERN)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Software Engineer I with a backend focus to join our engineering team. You will work on a multi‑tenant SaaS platform, writing clean TypeScript code and learning to apply SOLID principles and design patterns in production.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new features and API endpoints using TypeScript and the NestJS framework.
• Design, implement, and maintain GraphQL schemas, queries, and resolvers.
• Support server‑driven API workflows that guide dynamic user journeys.
• Maintain data isolation, tenant routing, and security in a multi‑tenant SaaS environment.
• Write and optimise MongoDB aggregation pipelines for complex data fetching and reporting.
• Apply clean‑code practices, SOLID principles, and common design patterns (e.g., Strategy, Factory).
• Manage database interactions with MongoDB, Prisma or TypeORM, and write efficient queries.
• Create unit and integration tests and participate in peer code reviews.

• Motivated, driven, and eager to grow technical skills under senior mentorship.
