Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to design and implement microservices that power captive portals, ad serving, and campaign management. The role involves building robust APIs, integrating programmatic exchanges, and ensuring high‑availability data handling.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement microservices for captive portals, ad serving, and campaign management.
• Develop REST and GraphQL APIs for portals, dashboards, and partner integrations.
• Integrate programmatic exchanges using OpenRTB and optimise low‑latency bidding and targeting.
• Build streaming and batch pipelines for impressions, clicks, and visit analytics.
• Optimise storage and caching with PostgreSQL and Redis, ensuring high availability.
• Implement authentication, authorization and secure data handling following OWASP best practices.
• Automate deployments with CI/CD pipelines and add observability through logs, metrics, and tracing.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions and on‑call rotations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in requirements engineering, product management or a related role.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban (a plus).
• Proficiency with tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and passionate about continuous learning.
