Software Engineer, Micro Platforms (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain scalable micro‑platforms that power core business services. The role is fully remote and offers the chance to work with a global leader in the technology, information and internet sector.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain high‑performance, reliable micro‑platforms.
• Develop and optimise backend services using modern languages and practices.
• Partner with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment, monitoring and scaling.
• Write clean, maintainable, testable code following engineering best practices.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across distributed systems.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a backend focus.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, Java or similar languages.
• Strong grasp of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
