Software Engineer - Node JS

About the role

Dubizzle Labs is expanding its engineering office in Pakistan and is looking for a motivated Software Engineer with strong Node.js expertise. You will join a fast‑growing team that builds products for a real‑estate platform serving millions of users across ten countries.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain world‑class suite products that support the hyper‑growth of the business.
• Collaborate with real‑estate industry leaders to create a remarkable experience for millions of monthly consumers.
• Leverage real‑user data to inform design decisions and help shape product vision based on client feedback.
• Work within an Agile team to deliver high‑quality code and continuously improve engineering practices.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of relevant software development experience.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Strong understanding of web architecture and database fundamentals.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary development team.
• Solid grasp of object‑oriented design, data structures and algorithms.

Required skills

• JavaScript
• Node.js (Node 8.0 with promises, async/await, generators, coroutines)
• API design and consumption (third‑party APIs)
• AWS or comparable cloud hosting environment
• Integration with external systems
