Software Engineer – Power BI Specialist

About the role

Habib Bank AG Zurich is looking for a Software Engineer specialized in Power BI to join its Project Management Office in Karachi. You will design, build and maintain interactive dashboards that support executive decision‑making, governance and audit processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for PMO and executive reporting.
• Extract, transform and model data from SQL databases and other enterprise sources.
• Create data models, DAX calculations and optimized reporting datasets.
• Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and data reliability.
• Collaborate with project managers and development teams to track milestones, change‑request progress and KPIs.
• Manage the change‑request lifecycle, including documentation, approvals and tracking.
• Ensure reports align with PMO governance, audit requirements and regulatory inquiries.
• Support sprint and release reporting in an Agile delivery environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field from a reputable university (3+ CGPA).
• 1–3 years of experience in Business Intelligence, reporting or PMO‑related analytics.
• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (or equivalent).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and documentation skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Experience in banking or other regulated environments is a strong advantage.
