Software Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

CodeX Squared is seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to evaluate and test its custom ERP and integration solutions. The role focuses on delivering reliable software and includes testing AI‑powered features using modern AI assistance tools.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers to ensure applications meet end‑user requirements.
• Perform manual, automated, regression, performance, and integration testing across components and full solutions.
• Generate effective test cases, scenarios, and data, leveraging AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and GitHub Copilot.
• Test AI/LLM features for accuracy, consistency, hallucinations, bias, and edge‑case behavior.
• Design prompt‑based test suites and adopt AI‑driven testing tools to improve coverage and reduce maintenance.
• Report defects clearly, track them to resolution, and prioritize testing activities.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with automated and performance testing tools.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum processes, and UML diagrams.
• Proficiency in SQL, Git, and repository platforms like Bitbucket or GitHub.
• Experience with white‑box and black‑box testing and AI assistants in daily QA work.
• Knowledge of AI/LLM behavior (non‑deterministic outputs, hallucinations, prompt sensitivity).

• Automation tools: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright (optional).
• Performance testing tools: JMeter (optional).
• API testing: Postman (optional).
• AI‑assisted testing tools: ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot.
• Version control: Git, Bitbucket, GitHub.
