Software Test Automation Engineer

About the role

Jeeny is seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer to own the automated testing framework for its mobile applications. You will ensure high‑quality releases by building reliable, scalable automation solutions and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy mobile app automation using Appium.
• Automate data extraction from apps and store results in Excel or databases.
• Perform API testing and integrate automated tests with backend services.
• Automate testing of RPA processes, focusing on reliability and performance.
• Write and maintain clean, efficient code following best practices.
• Utilize basic SQL for data manipulation, validation, and integration.
• Analyze existing processes with business analysts to identify automation opportunities.
• Create and maintain documentation, including technical specs and user guides.
• Monitor and optimize automated processes for efficiency and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with product, development, and QA teams to meet automation needs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in mobile app automation with Appium (Java or other language).
• Hands‑on experience with UI testing frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience automating RPA processes and API testing.
• Proficient in Java and comfortable with additional programming languages.
• Basic SQL knowledge for data handling.
• Experience with Continuous Integration tools.
• Critical thinker with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
