Solar Energy Consultant (Remote)

About the role

The Solar Energy Consultant works remotely to advise clients on solar power solutions and support renewable energy projects from concept to completion. The role combines technical analysis, proposal design, and client relationship management to drive sustainable energy adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze client energy needs and design appropriate solar power proposals.
• Generate and qualify leads, engage prospective clients, and prepare presentations and documentation.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to advance project stages.
• Provide ongoing customer service, answer inquiries, and support post‑installation follow‑up.

Required profile

• Applied knowledge of the solar industry, including basic system design and market trends.
• Experience in lead generation and converting prospects in B2B or B2C environments.
• Strong communication skills for explaining technical concepts and preparing proposals.
• Customer‑service capability to manage expectations and maintain long‑term relationships.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, manage time independently, and use digital collaboration tools.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills to assess energy needs and propose cost‑effective solutions.
• Prior experience in renewable energy, utilities, consulting or related fields is preferred.
• Relevant education in engineering, environmental studies, business or a related discipline is beneficial.
