Solar Site Supervisor – Lead Installation Projects

About the role

Aston Energy is looking for an experienced Solar Site Supervisor to lead solar installation projects from start to finish. You will ensure quality, safety, and client satisfaction while managing on‑site activities and the installation team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all on‑site solar panel installation activities, adhering to project plans and timelines.
• Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine optimal system design and feasibility.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, local building codes, and electrical standards.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the installation team, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Maintain project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and inspection records.
• Perform quality control checks to guarantee system integrity and efficiency.
• Communicate project updates to customers, project managers, and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in solar panel installation or a closely related field.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and PV design principles.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and construction best practices.
• Experience with tool operation and maintenance for solar installations.
• Ability to manage a team and delegate tasks effectively.
• Excellent problem‑solving, written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with permitting processes for solar installations.
