Spec‑driven Development Engineer

About the role

Melior ITS is seeking a highly skilled engineer to develop AI‑assisted, specification‑driven full‑stack systems for European clients. The role requires delivering production‑ready solutions end‑to‑end, often solo, using AI tooling such as Claude Code, BMAD, and Cursor.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, test and deploy full‑stack applications, including backend services, frontend UIs, APIs and data flows.
• Own features from detailed specifications through deployment, producing architecture documents, PRDs and technical specs.
• Build AI‑assisted workflows and intelligent agents that automate multi‑step processes and react to real‑time data.
• Integrate billing, payment and financial systems using processor‑agnostic architectures.
• Collaborate directly with domain experts embedded in client operations and continuously improve solutions based on feedback.

Required profile

• 5–8+ years of professional software engineering experience in startup and enterprise environments.
• Strong full‑stack development background with .NET/ASP.NET Core, ReactJS or AngularJS, Node.js with TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), Docker and containerised deployments.
• Proven ability to use AI‑powered development tools (Claude Code, BMAD, Cursor) in a disciplined, spec‑driven manner.
