Staff Accountant

About the role

HCA Consulting Group is seeking a motivated Staff Accountant to join its finance team in Lahore. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting payroll, and ensuring timely month‑end close activities.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile credit‑card and bank accounts on a monthly basis.
• Perform accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoicing and bill payments.
• Enter journal entries for all transactions.
• Assist with payroll processing.
• Complete monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare month‑end financial reporting packages.
• Support sales‑tax filings and other accounting projects as needed.

Required profile

• ACCA Affiliate/Finalist or ICMA Affiliate/Finalist.
• 18–24 months of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience with QuickBooks and other accounting platforms.
• Month‑end close experience.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer‑service, and problem‑solving abilities.
