Staff Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Staff Accountant to join TCP’s finance team. In this role you will support daily cash‑management processes, ensure accurate customer billing, and help maintain the integrity of our financial data across multiple systems.

Key responsibilities

• Import and reconcile bank transactions in NetSuite.
• Post and apply customer payments daily in Zuora and NetSuite.
• Navigate and verify customer account details in both systems.
• Download and upload lockbox files from Wells Fargo for account application.
• Conduct audits and investigate variances related to billing, subscriptions, and invoicing.
• Generate ad‑hoc financial reports from verified source data.
• Follow predefined SOPs and workflows to ensure compliance.
• Perform other finance‑related duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in accounts, finance, billing, client success, customer support or collections.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Strong organizational, time‑management and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and provide outstanding service to internal and external queries.
• Physical ability to sit at a desk for prolonged periods and lift up to 15 lb occasionally.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, PivotTables, data analysis).
• Experience with Zuora.
• Experience with NetSuite.
