Strategic Project Manager (Legal) – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a Strategic Project Manager (Legal) to lead high‑impact legal initiatives for a global leader in legal services. This fully remote, full‑time position focuses on aligning legal strategy with business objectives and driving operational excellence across cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end legal projects from scoping through delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and milestone tracking.
• Coordinate with legal, compliance, and business stakeholders to secure resources and drive collaboration.
• Monitor progress, produce status reports, and present outcomes to senior leadership.
• Identify project risks, propose mitigation strategies, and ensure timely issue resolution.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing legal projects in corporate or law‑firm environments.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
