Strategic Project Manager (Legal) – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a Strategic Project Manager (Legal) to lead high‑impact legal initiatives for a global leader in legal services. This fully remote, full‑time position combines legal expertise with project‑management discipline to drive strategic execution across cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of legal projects, from scoping and planning through execution and closure.
• Develop detailed project plans that align with business objectives and legal priorities.
• Collaborate with legal, compliance, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
• Monitor progress against milestones, produce status reports, and communicate outcomes to senior leadership.
• Identify project risks, propose mitigation strategies, and ensure issues are resolved promptly.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing legal projects in corporate or law‑firm environments.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of legal processes and project‑management frameworks.

Required skills

• Experience with legal technology tools and platforms.
