Student Counselor – Educational Development

About the role

The Student Counselor for Educational Development will guide secondary and higher‑education students in Rahim Yar Khan or Hyderabad. The role focuses on helping learners understand their strengths, explore career options and create personalized academic plans.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct one‑on‑one counseling sessions covering academic progress and career planning.
• Administer and interpret assessment tools to identify student interests, aptitudes and development needs.
• Design individualized counseling plans based on assessment results and student goals.
• Maintain accurate records of sessions, progress notes and outcome reports.
• Analyze student data to refine counseling strategies and improve program effectiveness.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators and external partners to provide integrated support.
• Stay informed about current education trends and career pathways.

Required profile

• At least one year of experience in an educational or counseling setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, counseling or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on active listening.
• Commitment to student development and ethical confidentiality standards.
