Surveyor – Total Station Specialist

About the role

FTS is looking for an experienced Surveyor to operate Total Station equipment on construction and land projects in Karachi. The role is full‑time, on‑site and requires morning‑shift availability and occasional travel to project sites.

Key responsibilities

• Operate Total Station instruments to capture precise spatial data for land and construction surveys.
• Collect, measure, record, and validate coordinates, topography and site information.
• Perform calculations and adjustments to ensure field‑measurement accuracy.
• Use survey data processing and analysis software to generate detailed survey reports and maps.
• Interpret topographical data for engineering, planning and site‑design purposes.
• Maintain, calibrate and troubleshoot survey instruments.
• Collaborate with project teams, providing survey data for decision‑making and documentation.
• Conduct field verification and resolve discrepancies between collected data and project specifications.

Required profile

• Proven experience operating Total Station equipment in land or construction surveying.
• Ability to work on‑site, travel to project locations and be available for morning shifts.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Good analytical skills for data verification and report preparation.
