System Support Engineer

About the role

Zameen.com is looking for a System Support Engineer to join its Rawalpindi office. The role focuses on maintaining server and network infrastructure, providing Windows systems administration, and supporting end‑users across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and maintain servers, perform backups and ensure systems are ready for production.
• Monitor WAN/LAN health using SolarWinds and troubleshoot Wi‑Fi network issues.
• Provide Windows systems administration, including support for multiple OS versions and virtualization technologies.
• Administer and maintain the Remedy Trouble‑Ticket and Action Request systems, including reporting and known error database updates.
• Install and configure new hardware and software, manage user accounts, permissions and passwords.
• Oversee security measures, install antivirus protection, and resolve network faults.
• Provide technical support and training to staff, supervise helpdesk personnel, and plan future IT improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 2‑5 years of relevant IT experience.
• Strong problem‑solving, organization and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical issues in simple terms.
• Team‑player attitude with a commitment to continuous learning.
• Clear understanding of the employer’s specific systems and processes.
