Technical Auditor

About the role

The Technical Auditor will independently assess engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and project execution activities to ensure they meet company policies, client specifications, contractual requirements and industry best practices. This role provides assurance on technical governance, identifies risks and recommends improvements to enhance quality, reliability and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct technical audits across all project phases, verifying compliance with approved drawings, specifications and international standards.
• Review engineering deliverables, calculations, design changes, technical approvals and related documentation.
• Evaluate compliance with engineering standards, client requirements and statutory regulations, and assess the implementation of Quality Management Systems.
• Audit vendor and supplier technical evaluations, material specifications and bid assessments.
• Identify technical, operational and execution risks, propose preventive and corrective actions, and monitor their implementation.
• Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting observations, risks, root causes and recommendations; present findings to senior management and follow up on corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical or Instrumentation engineering (Master's degree is a plus).
• 10–15 years of experience in engineering, construction, QA/QC, project management or technical audit within EPC projects.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of the EPC project lifecycle.
• Familiarity with international engineering standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with ERP systems.
