Technical Lead - GPU Infrastructure

About the role

Lead the technical development of GPU infrastructure for Tether Data's Cosmic AC platform. You will oversee a self‑hosted Kubernetes deployment, GPU containers, managed inference endpoints, and a Slurm scheduling layer, ensuring high‑performance compute for AI and blockchain workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain a bare‑metal GPU compute platform.
• Manage the Kubernetes control plane written in JavaScript.
• Develop and operate a Slurm scheduling layer for internal research.
• Ensure platform observability, reliability, and performance optimisation.
• Collaborate with research and engineering teams to support AI and data‑intensive workloads.
• Drive cost‑efficiency and scalability of GPU resources.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers on best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading GPU or high‑performance compute projects.
• Strong background in Linux/Unix system administration.
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to work remotely.
• Experience in fintech or blockchain environments is a plus.
