Technical Sales Engineer – Solar Energy

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Technical Sales Engineer to drive the growth of our solar product portfolio. You will combine engineering expertise with sales acumen to deliver tailored solar solutions to clients across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to increase solar product sales.
• Visit client sites, conduct assessments, and prepare technical proposals, system designs, and cost estimates.
• Provide post‑sale support during installation and operational phases.
• Collaborate with procurement and installation teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Manage a team of sales engineers and achieve individual sales targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Proven sales experience in solar or renewable‑energy markets.
• Strong understanding of solar system design and technical concepts.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with design tools such as SketchUp, Helioscope, or PVsyst.
• Ability to conduct site assessments and generate customized solar solutions.
• Experience preparing technical proposals and cost estimates.
