Technical Services Manager – Exchange & Email Security

About the role

The Technical Services Manager will lead the design, deployment and ongoing management of Microsoft Exchange and email security solutions for a large enterprise environment. This role ensures reliable, secure messaging services across on‑premises and cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Microsoft Exchange Server infrastructure for large enterprises.
• Design and deploy Exchange Online and hybrid Exchange solutions.
• Design and implement Active Directory, Azure AD / Entra ID infrastructures.
• Configure, monitor and maintain email security platforms such as Cisco ESA and Microsoft Defender for Office 365.
• Identify and mitigate email‑based threats including phishing, spam, malware and spoofing.
• Implement email encryption, Data Loss Prevention policies and secure email gateways.
• Conduct regular security audits, penetration testing and threat analysis.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to develop and test incident response plans.
• Stay current on emerging email security threats and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and implementing Microsoft Exchange Server for large enterprises.
• Experience with Exchange Online and hybrid Exchange deployments.
• Experience with Active Directory and Azure AD / Entra ID design and implementation.
• Experience configuring and maintaining Cisco Email Security Appliance and Microsoft Defender for Office 365.
• Experience conducting security audits, penetration testing and threat analysis for email systems.
