Technical Support Associate

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Support Associate to join our team supporting retail and restaurant management POS solutions. You will ensure that hardware and software operate smoothly, assist users, and help drive new business through technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Set up hardware, install and configure software and drivers.
• Maintain and repair technological equipment such as routers and peripheral devices.
• Install and manage LAN/WAN networks, servers, IP addresses and related components.
• Perform regular system upgrades and apply patches.
• Troubleshoot system failures, bugs and provide timely resolutions.
• Conduct maintenance sessions to identify and fix inefficiencies.
• Provide technical support to users and train them on proper computer usage.
• Assist in closing new business deals by coordinating requirements and integrating contract terms.
• Uphold confidentiality and adhere to company policies and standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a computer technician or in a similar technical support role.
• Strong knowledge of computer systems, IT components and networking fundamentals.
• Understanding of internet security and data‑privacy principles.
• Excellent troubleshooting, organization and time‑management abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ are a plus.
• Familiarity with HubSpot CRM is advantageous.
