Technical Support Engineer

About the role

SAJ is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to act as the bridge between its renewable‑energy storage products and customers. You will provide expert guidance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure customers derive maximum value from residential and commercial‑and‑industrial (C&I) solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver advanced phone, email, and on‑site support for installers and end‑users of residential and C&I energy storage systems.
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to system design, installation, commissioning, and operation.
• Support sales and project teams with technical expertise during pre‑sales, project execution, and after‑sales phases.
• Collaborate with service, repair, and R&D departments to drive efficient issue resolution and continuous improvement.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, commissioning guides, and troubleshooting manuals.
• Improve support processes to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
• Conduct technical training workshops for installers, partners, and customers.
• Represent SAJ at trade fairs, exhibitions, and customer events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy or a related field.
• Experience in the solar PV and/or energy‑storage industry is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of C&I inverters, battery storage systems and grid‑connection requirements.
• Proven background in technical support, project engineering or system commissioning within renewable energy.
• Solution‑oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience working across sales, service and R&D teams and handling technical escalations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an international team.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
